Enjoying My Free Time With My Kids

About a year ago, I started realizing that my time away from work pretty much revolved around sitting in front of the television. I wanted to do something to get outside and start enjoying my time, so I began focusing on recreational activities and sports. I began going through and really spending time getting to the gym, and the difference was astounding. Within a few short months I really started feeling a lot better, and I knew that I owed it all to having fun, burning some calories, and making some muscle. This blog is here to help other people to enjoy time with their families and check out all of the great things you can do for fun.

Three Types Of Fishing Plug Bags

by Herbert Richards

Surf fishing is an exciting type of angling that is popular in several areas around the country. If you've recently relocated to an area in which the conditions are suitable for this type of surfing, you'll want to buy the right gear. While a long fishing rod might be the first thing that comes to mind, don't forget a selection of plug lures — the type of lure that is popular for surf fishing. To hold the lures, you'll want a specially designed plug bag, which you can buy from any fishing store. Here are three types of fishing plug bags to consider.

Shoulder Bag

Many surf fishing enthusiasts carry their plug lures in a specially designed shoulder bag. This type of bag is valuable because of its versatility. You can wear it over one shoulder so that it hangs at the side of your body, or you can wear it with the strap positioned diagonally across your torso. The latter option may be favorable because it's less prone to slipping off when you're moving around the surf. A shoulder bag tends to be narrow and has a top opening that reveals a number of dedicated spaces in which you can load your plug lures.

Belt Bag

If you favor a small bag for your lures because you plan to carry only a couple of lures on your fishing outings, you might want to choose a belt bag. As its name suggests, this is a device that you can mount to the belt of your pants. Doing so will keep the bag and its contents secure, as well as allow you to reach for a new lure quickly and easily because the bag won't slide around. The small size of this type of bag makes it light, which can be handy if you'll be doing a lot of walking along the water's edge.

Backpack

At the opposite end of the size spectrum is a backpack-sized bag. This is a good choice if you plan to own a large selection of plug lures and want to carry many of them with you when you fish. While this bag and its contents will be heavier than a shoulder bag, you might not significantly notice the weight because it will be evenly distributed on both of your shoulders instead of just one.
